On Tuesday 23 May our Sixth Formers celebrated the completion of the Young Enterprise programme. Mike Eaton (YE Business Advisor) and Jenny Batt (Sutton Volunteer Service Youth Engagement Officer) came along to present the three teams with their Certificates of Achievement, trophies and some gifts from the programme.
It was an opportunity for all of the participants to reflect on their enterprises and share with everyone what worked well, what they had most enjoyed and what they would do differently.
The students have all developed the skills required for employment including communication, teamwork, problem solving, money management and being ready for the workplace.
Each team nominated a team member for outstanding effort and gave each nominee positive feedback.
The three teams all made a healthy profit and as a group have pledged to donate 20% of their funds to a local charity, using the remainder of their hard earned profits on a team treat.
