World War 2 Day

On Tuesday 12th March, students from Carew Academy participated in World War 2 Theme Day. Some students dressed up as British soldiers, evacuee children and what people back then would have worn. The students learnt about Morse Code, The Blackout, air raid shelters and rationing. They made and ate typical food eaten during WW2 including spam sandwiches, bread and butter pudding and rock cakes. Everybody had a great day.
