On Monday 3rd December, Year 10 students in Tokyo and Nairobi visited Winter Wonderland as part of their Work Experience week. The aim of the trip was to learn about different types of jobs, such as stall holders and event organisers. We got the train and the tube to the venue, whilst travelling we discussed different routes, as well as learning how to use the tube map and follow signs to the correct platforms.
When we arrived at Winter Wonderland, students remained in small groups. Some went on rides, others played games and some went straight for the food!
The visit was a huge success, even with the almost torrential downpour!, and the students had a great amount of fun, as well as learning key social, life and work skills along the way.
