Welcome Parents and Carers

This week Carew opened its doors to all of our families and carers to come and meet the new tutor and teaching team that will be the primary educators of their children over the coming year. It is a chance to come and meet with the Leadership team and find out about all the new things happening at Carew this year, before moving into individual classrooms to meet the teacher and teaching assistants that will work closely with their children.

This year saw our best attendance since the pandemic, with 70% of families able to attend and it was lovely to see everyone enjoying the connection with each other. Meeting face to face is so important, Staff and parent , parents meeting parents. Building relationships is so important and these night really help  Sitting in the seat of your child and seeing the world of school through their eyes, really helps to then discuss a school day at home and be able to relate to the experience more directly.

We were able to show our plans for our transition during the Spring term to the new building before our full move at Easter. We shared all the most up to date photos from the building and the wonderful assembly our student leadership team have been presenting to their peers throughout the last two weeks.
