Carew Academy will, as far as is possible, remain open to support the families of key workers and the vulnerable children we serve. Please take care and contact us if you need anything. Best wishes, Rob Watkins, Principal

WE Walk Fundraiser

On Friday, 24th May the whole of Carew Academy took part in the WE Walk for Water, to raise money for families who do not have access to clean drinking water.

Students were able to select from a short walk around the school or the park, a medium walk to Carshalton Ponds and a long walk along the Wandle Trail.  The long walkers completed over 10 miles in record time and enjoyed two rope swings over the River Wandle – with only a couple of students getting wet feet!  It was a fantastic day and the weather was kind to us.  A huge congratulations to everyone involved for raising £903.00 for charity.  The photo shows the exhaustion of the long walkers when they arrived back at Carew!!

Carew is an amazing school for our son, he now shines academically and his social skills are outstanding since being part of Carew.  Most of all they understand his needs and support him daily.
