Trip to Honeywood House Museum

Students from Kingston Class visited Honeywood House Museum in Carshalton where they looked at some old photos of the area and learned about the history of the house.   Students enjoyed trying out some of the artefacts that were on display, such as an old iron and some old fashioned toys .  They also saw a walrus skull that was found on the grounds of Carew Academy! After having an ice-cream and feeding the ducks, they went to the ecology centre and saw some local wildlife, including dragonflies, geese and herons.
