Carew Academy is a Special Academy for pupils aged 7 – 18 with a wide range of ability levels and additional learning needs.

On Tuesday 26th March, Paris class enjoyed a trip to Hobbledown Farm in Epsom. We particularly enjoyed watching the meerkats being fed and learning about the way they live, and having the opportunity to hold some small animals in our ‘Minibeasts’ activity. We had a close look at a tarantula’s skin, a cockroach, some tortoises called Penny and Leonard and some Giant African snails. In the photo you can see us with a Giant Tree Frog which lives in Australia!
