Trip to Farthing Woods

The pupils from Washington DC visited the beautiful woodlands in Farthing woods on a very rainy Friday. The weather did not dampen the students spirit though as they all really enjoyed being outdoors and learning lots of new skills such as foraging for wood, building a campfire and toasting marshmallows on the campfire.

They all practiced their teamwork skills too when they had to carry all the equipment and cooking utensils back through the woods to return back to the mini bus.
