On 14th January, a group of Upper School artists attended the Tate Modern Gallery. The students navigated themselves from Carew Academy to the River Thames on public transport. We then explored 4 different galleries looking at surrealism, pop art and a radio tower actually made of radios!
The students benefited from the exposure to high art and all found inspirations to push their GCSE and A level projects to the next level. An amazing day!
