Sutton Panathlon

This year Carew played a pivotal role at the Sutton Schools Sports Partnership’s Sutton Panathlon as we not only entered a team, but also had sports leaders at the event to run different sports stations.

“Our Lower School pupils represented Carew at the annual Sutton Panathlon Competition, and had a great afternoon trying 8 different sporting activities. The pupils worked very well together and enjoyed trying the different challenge activities. The team came in 5th place and were very happy to receive their certificates and medals. Well done team Carew!”

This year for the first time we had 9 Duke of Edinburgh students act as sports volunteers at the Sutton Panathlon. They had training last week to prepare for the event and alongside Carshalton Boys sports volunteers they did a fantastic job in preparing the sports events, keeping scores and explaining how station should be run. We were immensely proud of them showing great leadership skills and maturity beyond their years.
