Suppporting Comic Relief
Comic Relief took place at Carew on Friday 15th March! Students and staff dressed in red to show their support for a donation. At lunchtime, students took part in a Staff vs. Students football match – the students played amazingly well, but unfortunately lost 5-1 to the staff! Students and staff also voted to see which member of SLT would get “pied” in the face by placing spare change into collecting tins – so much money was raised that Mr Davey, Ms Taylor, Mr Shepherd and Mr Watkins all ended up getting “pied”. Overall we raised over £300 for Comic Relief on what was a fantastically fun day! Well done everyone!
