Supporting Young People

This academic year, Carew Academy proved a valuable service to a young member of the local community by organising and being the exams centre for his GCSE qualifications. The candidate does not attend school at Carew but was able to sit a variety of challenging GCSE exams, working with teachers at Carew to be assessed on English speaking and listening skills, as well as a number of members of staff who sat and invigilated the exams for him. He and his family told Carew how thankful they were for the opportunity and support, commenting on how caring the whole school environment was. A fantastic example of how Carew Academy is helping members of the local community.
