Students get Sporty!

A group of 8 Year 10 students travelled to the Surrey Para Games in Godalming on Wednesday.

The pupils got the opportunity to both play and win a Boccia game against another school who last year reached the London Youth Games Finals – Jade in particular was pinpointed as someone with a great eye for Boccia!

The pupils then got a football coaching session where their skills were put to the test with some rigorous competitions – Joshua has been photographed scoring a great goal.

This was then followed with a cycling sessions where the students got to go around a course on lots of different types of bicycles.

The students behaved fantastically throughout the day and were a great representation of everyone at Carew.

Carew is an amazing school for our son, he now shines academically and his social skills are outstanding since being part of Carew.  Most of all they understand his needs and support him daily.
