Student Surae Shines at British Down Syndrome Swimming Championships

Surae in Year 10 Tokyo class competed in the British Down Syndrome Swimming Championships at  the K2 in Crawley on 15th and 16th November. We are so proud of her achievements:

25M junior freestyle – gold medal

25M junior backstroke – silver medal

(4th by 1 second in the 50 m backstroke)

Surae was competing against athletes from the UK and around the world – New Zealand, Japan, Canada, USA, Portugal etc!

Surae has been training very hard so it is fantastic to celebrate her success!
