We are open and, in accordance with government guidelines, we are working to gradually increase the number of students who can return to school safely over the summer term.

As always, we are here to support you, if you have any queries please contact us. Best wishes, Rob Watkins, Principal

SSSA Unihoc Competition

On Thursday 6th February, 8 students represented Carew Academy in a Unihoc tournament.

For many of the students this was the first time they had represented Carew at a sports fixture and they had only a little experience of playing Unihoc.

However, their tactical awareness and technique improved rapidly through the day. Despite starting the day with a loss, the team were inspired to a tie and a win which took them into the finals. Two losses, one with an exciting penalty shootout, took them to the 5th place play-off which they won convincingly with a 6-0 scoreline.

All players were a credit to the school in sportsmanship and improvement!

Carew is an amazing school for our son, he now shines academically and his social skills are outstanding since being part of Carew.  Most of all they understand his needs and support him daily.
