We are open and, in accordance with government guidelines, we are working to gradually increase the number of students who can return to school safely over the summer term.

As always, we are here to support you, if you have any queries please contact us. Best wishes, Rob Watkins, Principal

Lilly the therapy dog has been busy supporting some of our students during lockdown via Zoom. She is part of the Canine Assisted Wellbeing Group (CAWG) which is dedicated to improving mental health and emotional wellbeing through professional canine support. During the remote sessions Lilly (with her owner Claire) has helped students understand the importance of keeping their brains and body exercised while they are at home. They have also helped some students with strategies for staying calm and others with their reading. They are looking forward to coming back to school, just as students are, but are excited to work with more young people via Zoom in the meantime.

CAWG have put together some helpful tips and ideas to help bedtime to become easier and calmer for all. https://www.canineassistedlearning.com/uncategorized/helping-children-sleep-during-covid-19/

Carew is an amazing school for our son, he now shines academically and his social skills are outstanding since being part of Carew.  Most of all they understand his needs and support him daily.
