New Sensory Rooms at Carew Academy
We’re delighted to share our recently installed sensory rooms at Carew Academy. These wonderful new spaces, a calming sensory room and a fully equipped soft play room, are already making a meaningful difference to our pupils.
Designed to support emotional regulation, communication and engagement, they provide safe, stimulating environments where young people can explore, learn and thrive. The addition of these sensory facilities gives more pupils access to sensory experiences that support their development, confidence and wellbeing.
💙 We are hugely grateful to the funders who made this possible:
- The Shanly Foundation, whose generous support helped fund the soft play room
- F.B. Coales No. 4 (Family) Trust, who funded the calm sensory room
Their support, in partnership with the Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust fundraising team, has helped us transform empty spaces into vital resources for our pupils.
Thank you for helping us create spaces where every pupil can flourish.
