Carew Academy is a Special Academy for pupils aged 7 – 18 with a wide range of ability levels and additional learning needs.

At Carew Academy we understand that parents/carers need to be involved in their children’s education.
For my work experience, I was a childminder assistant. I fed the babies, and I played with them to make them happy. I carried them when they were upset and the babies crawled over to me and sat on me because they were tired. My favourite part was feeding them.
I learnt that I am calm with them and they make me feel happy. I would like to do this as a job because I think babies are cute and it is fun to teach them new things as they grow up.
