My Voice Matters

This week at Carew Academy we have been celebrating Children’s Mental Health Week 2024, focusing on the theme of ‘My Voice Matters’. We have been highlighting the importance of children and young people knowing that they’re not alone in facing mental health challenges.

Throughout the week in tutor times, and in RSHE lessons we have been looking at different ways we can express ourselves and have our voices heard, giving ourselves the courage to speak up and talk about our feelings creating a supportive space for open conversations and positive mental health.

If you have any concerns regarding your child’s mental health, please contact your child’s tutor, or a member of the safeguarding team.
