Mary Poppins

The classic tale of Mary Poppins was transformed into an absolutely brilliant stage production by Carew Academy’s Drama club lead by Miss Lowe.

This tale of wonder was portrayed with such character and emotion that even the cast may have wept behind the scenes.  It was a celebration of wonderfully enthusiastic performances from Carew’s finest actors and dancers who, collectively achieved a magical evening.

One of the highlights of the show was the penguin dance, this hilarious rumble was choreographed by Miss Bridgewater.  The dances gave the show a truly modern flare.

The school is making such a difference to the lives of our young people. I am immensely proud of all that you are achieving.

Cllr Ruth Dombey, Leader of Sutton Council
