At Carew part of our co-curricular programme is known as our enrichment programme, which allows our KS2 and year 7 students to immerse themselves in new experiences and activities, providing them with opportunities that go beyond the standard curriculum.

Students can choose from a wide range of activities from the following categories: Sports, Creative, Social/Motor Skills, and Educational.

Students receive a description of each of the enrichments on offer, select their top three enrichments in order of preference and are then allocated to an enrichment accordingly.

Enrichment groups change half termly, as this allows our students to try a range of activities throughout the year and enhance learning by offering additional challenges, depth, and breadth of knowledge. Once a student has done an enrichment, they cannot repeat it, meaning they have the opportunity to try as many different activities as possible.

The goal of enrichment at Carew is to cater to the diverse needs and interests of students, fostering their intellectual growth, creativity, and a love for learning while preparing them for future academic and personal success. As such, we are proud that it is embedded into the lower school curriculum.
