London Youth Games

By Support - December 12th, 2019 | Posted in News

On 19th November, Carew Academy were invited to take part in the London Youth Games.

This was a fantastic day for all that took part. It was held at a great venue with the addition of fantastic staff from the London Youth Games. The students got the chance to take part in a wheelchair tennis event, just for training purposes.

Every single student had a brilliant time rotating through the different stations. The highlight of the day came when the pupils got to meet Heather Watson, UK Number 1 and World Top 20 Tennis player.. After receiving a lovely medal for each individual, we left with every student smiling ear to ear.
