Lights, Camera, Action: Our Theatre Week Celebration!
What an incredible week it has been! Our school came alive with energy, creativity and plenty of show-stopping moments during Theatre Week. From start to finish, students embraced every opportunity to perform, collaborate and shine on stage.
We kicked things off on Monday with an exciting showcase from Year 7 and KS2. Audiences were treated to vibrant performances inspired by Minions, Stranger Things and Pirates, alongside a fantastic individual tribute to Michael Jackson that had everyone captivated.
Tuesday brought even more excitement! Our Middle School had the audience in stitches with a brilliant slapstick comedy, completely written by the students themselves, showcasing their imagination and sense of humour. Upper School wowed us with a bold and modern take on Romeo and Juliet, bringing fresh energy to the classic story.
Wednesday saw our After School Performing Arts Club fully immersed in rehearsals for Peter Pan. Students demonstrated real resilience and teamwork throughout the day, especially when adapting to last-minute changes, proving that the show really does go on!
Their dedication paid off on Thursday, with three magical performances of Peter Pan. Filled with adventure, humour and heart, the production truly transported our audiences to Neverland.
We wrapped up the week in style with a fantastic Skills for Life Pathway disco on Friday – a perfect way to celebrate all the hard work, confidence and achievements of our students.
A huge well done to everyone involved. Theatre Week was a true celebration of creativity, perseverance and teamwork and we couldn’t be prouder!
