Letter of Thanks from Sir David Attenborough
We were proud to receive a handwritten letter from Sir David Attenborough thanking them for the artwork they created for the school gates to celebrate his 98th Birthday. The whole school community wanted to make a display in his honour and as a mark of their respect for the awareness he has raised about our beautiful planet and the range of extraordinary living things that call it home, educating us about how vulnerable our planet it is and what we can do to help protect it.
He wrote:
‘I am very complimented that your pupils should have created such a spectacular decoration for the school’s gate.
I send you all my very best wishes,
David Attenborough
