SEND and Local Offer

Carew Academy meets the needs of a range of students education needs. We see the progress and well-being of our students as the responsibility of every member of staff within our school. Please find below key information regarding SEND at our school.

SEND Policy – the SEND Policy sets out the principle and aims of the school’s SEND arrangements.

SEN Information Report – the SEN Information Report outlines the school’s provision for students with SEN. The report is based on: Section 69(2) of the Children and Families Act 2014 and regulation 51 and schedule 1 of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Regulations 2014 and section 6 of the Special educational needs and disability code of practice: 0 to 25 years.

Local Offer Sutton Local Authority’s Local Offer provides information on services for children and young people with SEN in their borough. Carew Academy is a key part of Sutton’s Local Offer.
