Job Description

The roles will involve supporting as a Teaching Assistant in around 20 lessons each week, taking responsibility for leading at least 6 lessons each week and up to 4 periods a week of management time for carrying out the above responsibilities.

Carew Academy is a ‘Good’ school, with an ‘Outstanding’ judgement for Behaviour and Safety, for pupils between the ages of 7 and 18 who have moderate learning difficulties or a diagnosis of ASD. To support staff wellbeing we have ‘Wellbeing Wednesdays’ – last term staff enjoyed a chocolate fuelled Easter Egg Hunt. At the end of this term we have our Summer BBQ.
