Jessie’s Fund, a UK charity that helps young people with additional and complex needs to communicate and express themselves through the use of music, has been running a 5 day soundtracks project at Carew Academy.
Five days of practice and workshops culminated in a performance on Tuesday afternoon which went brilliantly.
One of the teachers said “We are so proud of them; the students have worked so well together as a team and were helping each other out throughout the course and the performance.”
One of the organisers from Jessie’s Fund said “The students have come such a long way since the beginning of the course. You can see the change evolving and how much the performance meant to them by the end of the week. They have all put a lot of time and effort into this final performance, and should be proud of what they have achieved.”
