Jamie’s Farm Overnight Fun!

Skills for Life students from Year 9 to Year 11 had the chance to visit Jamie’s Farm to take part in a residential trip this week. A fantastic experience for everyone involved, the students stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and practiced their independence skills with staff from Carew Academy and Jamie’s Farm assisting.

They were all able to take part in a large range of experiences that helped develop their communication, team work, respect and attitude to building up their resilience. It was a wonderful trip, and all the students benefited greatly, but please do not just take our word for it!

Parents had this to say about the trip…

“These photos are brilliant! Thank you so much for keeping us informed! Looks like everyone has had a great time!”

“Thanks so much. Everyone looks so happy”

“Thank you to you all for everything & also beautiful photos. ___ looks very relaxed :)”

“Totally agree, thank you all”

“Thank you very, very much for photos. Beautiful photos and very relaxed. You are wonderful!”

“Such lovely shots of everyone. Thanks so much”

“Thank you so much for looking after ___ she looks like she had a blast! :)”

“Thanks well done to you all for making this happen”

Carew is an amazing school for our son, he now shines academically and his social skills are outstanding since being part of Carew.  Most of all they understand his needs and support him daily.
