Carew Academy is a Special Academy for pupils aged 7 – 18 with a wide range of ability levels and additional learning needs.
This section provides key information including how the school spends the funding it receives, its policies and procedures, students' progress and attainment, inspection information and the schools self-evaluation.
At Carew Academy students have access to a range of support and therapies that can enhance their educational experience with us.
At Carew Academy we want our students to feel a part of both the school and the wider community.
At Carew Academy we understand that parents/carers need to be involved in their children’s education.
On 14th January, our Sixth Form students went on an insightful visit to Croydon Crown Court.
They got the opportunity to find out how court cases work, what the criminal justice system looks like and they even got to see a court plead where the defendant was accused of possession of sharp weapons/knives. He pleaded Not Guilty so the case will go to trial in July.
Everyone had a fantastic day and we look forward to visiting again in the future!
