GCSE Success

Year 11 students at Carew Academy celebrated superb results today, either at Entry Level, Level 1 or Level 2.

Every single Year 11 student achieved a qualification in English, Maths, Science, Computing, PSE and an Arts Subject/DofE!

This is the first time ever we have achieved this – a testament to hard work of all students and staff – all students are leaving us with a minimum of 6 certificates!

Our GCSE results were a “full house” with every entry achieving a grade.

English Functional Skills Level 1: 6 Students Achieved Functional Skills Level 1

Maths GCSE: Myley and Luke achieved Grade 2 and Lee achieved a Grade 4

Biology GCSE: Jessica achieved Grade 2 and Lee achieved Grade 5

Art GCSE: Jeanet achieved a Grade 4, Jessica a Grade 5 and Bethany a Grade 6

Photography GCSE: Jack and Emily achieved Grade 3, Bethany a Grade 4

Drama: 10 Students Achieved their Bronze Arts Award

Music: 12 Students Achieved their Silver Arts Award and 2 Achieved Bronze Arts Award

D of E: 11 Students Achieved their Silver D of E Award and 4 Achieved D of E Bronze

A fantastic set of outcomes for our Year 11s!

Let’s show what we can do!

The school is making such a difference to the lives of our young people. I am immensely proud of all that you are achieving.
