We are open and, in accordance with government guidelines, we are working to gradually increase the number of students who can return to school safely over the summer term.

As always, we are here to support you, if you have any queries please contact us. Best wishes, Rob Watkins, Principal

Fun at Jamie’s Farm

On Monday 2nd March, 13 students from Carew Academy set out on an amazing adventure to Jamie’s Farm in Bath.

The students had an amazing week at the farm as you can see from all the photos – they got fully ‘stuck in’ to farm life!  The students fed the animals each morning, cooked all their meals and helped with numerous jobs around the farm.  Lots of the students had the opportunity to ‘birth give’ a lamb as Nicky described it!  Each day ended with a long walk in the countryside and a chance to ‘Check In’ on how they were feeling and ‘Shout Out’ to say something positive about someone else.  It was a fantastic week and the students didn’t want to come home.

A huge thank you to all the Jamie’s Farm staff for their kindness, care and support.

Carew is an amazing school for our son, he now shines academically and his social skills are outstanding since being part of Carew.  Most of all they understand his needs and support him daily.
