Fulham FC Inclusive League Round Up

KS4 A Team:

It was another fantastic day out at Fulham FC for the inclusive league. Carew A played extremely well under difficult circumstance, with only 6 players in the team and no first team goalkeeper the boys should be proud of themselves.  We got off to a flying start with a 1-0 win against Nightingale with some great defensive displays. However, some lapses in concentration in our second and third game saw us lose both matches from winning positions! We unfortunately lost 3-2 to Sunnydown School and 4-3 to Burlington House. The boys showed great resilience and bounced back to grab a point in their last game against Grafham Grange, they played some great football but failed to convert their chances.

KS4 B Team:

The boys had a great day out at Fulham FC Training Ground. They battled back in their first game 2-0 down to win 3-2, they then won convincingly in their second game, before a defeat and a loss. They showed great resilience and had a fantastic day.

Results:

3-2 win Vs New Barn

4-0 win Vs Abbey School

1-2 defeat Vs The Link

1-1 draw Vs Bensham Manor

KS3 A Team:

It was a very successful day out for the KS3 A Team as they played some fantastic football to blow some of the opposition away. With only 6 players in the squad all players had to play every second of every match which is incredible. Throughout the team all players played their part in a well gelled Carew team that went unbeaten for the whole day! Well Done Boys!

Results:

2-0 Win Vs New Barn 2 – Goals: ZD, LK

1-0 Win Vs The Abbey – Goals: ZD

1-1 Draw Vs Grafham Grange – Goal: LK

1-0 Win Vs Burlington – Goal: JJ

0-0 Draw Vs New Barn 1

KS3 B Team:

The KS3 B Team played fantastic under difficult circumstances! A lot of the squad had never played in the same team before but showed great teamwork and effort to try and get the results they wanted. After a tricky first game where the team lost, they manage to rally together and follow up with a win, draw and 2 unlucky losses. Well Done Boys!

Carew is an amazing school for our son, he now shines academically and his social skills are outstanding since being part of Carew.  Most of all they understand his needs and support him daily.
