End of term assembly and celebration

The Great Hall was packed to the rafters this morning as the whole school came together, joined by family, to celebrate the end of the Spring term. This was an opportunity to reflect on and award our students’ hard work and efforts throughout the school year so far.

Following an introduction from Mr Prior, Mr Geen led the proceedings which included awarding the ‘Pupil of the Term’ winner from each class, 100% attendance certificates (there were many!), winners of the best World Book Day costumes, and the big one…the winning house for earning the most merit points. Nonsuch were the winners of the trophy, with an amazing total of 220 merits!

The assembly was also a celebration of the varying talents of Carew’s students, which included a dance performance, singing, a clarinet solo, drumming, football commentary, and teachers even got involved with their own magic act!

We wish all our students a very happy Easter break, see you back for the Summer term!
