Children’s Mental Health Week 2020

From 3rd to 7th February, Carew Academy celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week with the theme of ‘Find Your Brave’.

Students learned that bravery comes in all shapes and sizes and is different for everyone. Bravery can be about sharing worries, asking for help, trying something new, or pushing yourself outside your comfort zone. Students understood that being brave can build confidence, self-esteem and makes you feel good about yourself.

Students highlighted their bravest moments, looked at what their fears were, and then made small action plans to help them overcome their worries and fears.  Here are images of Beijing class’ brave moments!

Carew is an amazing school for our son, he now shines academically and his social skills are outstanding since being part of Carew.  Most of all they understand his needs and support him daily.
