Children’s Book Project

Carew Academy are delighted to have been selected for the Children’s Book Project Discovery Programme! We will receive a termly donation of carefully chosen books and accompanying resources to support exciting book gifting events across the year. Participating schools receive the equivalent of two books per child per term, so that by the end of the year every student in Key Stages 2 & 3 will have had the chance to choose and take home six books of their own. We are looking forward to holding our first “Book Sparks” event and pop-up book shop later this term, and involving our newly-elected Reading Leaders in this exciting project. Watch this space!
