Carew Academy student selected for prestigious Royal Academy of Arts Young Artists’ Summer Show
Carew Academy is celebrating the outstanding achievement of former student Gabriella, whose printmaking artwork has been selected for exhibition in the Royal Academy of Arts Young Artists’ Summer Show 2026.
The annual exhibition showcases some of the most exciting young artistic talent from across the UK and internationally. This year, more than 25,000 young people submitted artwork, with just 195 pieces selected for physical exhibition at the Royal Academy’s iconic galleries in London.
Having her work chosen from such a talented field is an exceptional accomplishment and reflects Gabriella’s creativity, technical skill and dedication to her artistic practice.
Now based in Paris, Gabriella continues to develop her work following her time at Carew Academy. Her selection for one of the UK’s most prestigious young artists’ exhibitions is a significant milestone and one that everyone at the Academy is incredibly proud to celebrate.
Caroline Emmett, Head of Creative Arts at Carew Academy, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to see Gabriella’s work recognised by the Royal Academy of Arts. To have artwork selected from more than 25,000 submissions is an incredible achievement and a testament to her creativity, talent and hard work. We are enormously proud of everything she has achieved and wish her every success as she continues her artistic journey.”
The Royal Academy of Arts Young Artists’ Summer Show is free to visit and features artwork by talented young artists aged 4–19 from across the UK and around the world.
Congratulations, Gabriella, on this remarkable achievement. Everyone at Carew Academy is immensely proud of you.
