Carew Academy Celebrates Anti-Bullying Week 2025

By Clair Hill - November 18th, 2025 | Posted in Article

This week, Carew Academy has been proudly celebrating Anti-Bullying Week 2025, focusing on the theme “The Power of Good.” Our classes have explored how simple acts of kindness can make a big difference in creating a positive and supportive school community, closely linking with our school values of being caring and supporting one another every day.

Classes took part in discussions and activities around showing kindness to others, and we are so proud of the creativity and thoughtfulness our pupils have shown. To share their ideas, classes have created mini videos highlighting the different ways they demonstrate kindness every day from helping friends and including others to offering words of encouragement and support.

We also joined schools across the country in celebrating Odd Socks Day, to remind everyone that it’s great to be unique. By wearing mismatched socks, pupils and staff showed that our differences should be celebrated and respected.
