Carew Academy Awarded Gold Level Accreditation for TIAAS Programme
Our school is celebrating a significant achievement, having been awarded the Gold Level accreditation for the Trauma Informed Attachment Aware Schools (TIAAS) programme. This recognition highlights our commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where every student can thrive. The Gold Level award recognises our commitment to embed trauma-informed and attachment-aware practices throughout every aspect of school life.
Principal, James Kearns said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to receive this accreditation. It reflects the incredible effort and passion of our staff in ensuring that every child feels understood, valued, and supported. This recognition is not just an award – it’s a celebration of the inclusive and compassionate culture at Carew Academy.”
The Building Stronger Foundations programme, supported by the Sutton Virtual School and Educational Psychology service, demonstrates our commitment to developing relational practice not only within the school itself, but also across the wider community, both locally and regionally.
This milestone embodies our school aim to create a school community which supports all its members and provides an outstanding, caring, and aspirational education for all students.
