BookQuest pop-up bookshop a great success!

Our last pop-up bookshop of the academic year was a great success! Students in Key Stages 2 & 3, and all Skills for Life students, came along to our pop-up bookshop, run in partnership with The Children’s Book Project, a literacy charity dedicated to giving every child their own books. Students chose two free books to take home and share and then marked the reasons for their choices on the huge BookQuest wall poster, assisted by our 6th form Reading Leaders. At the end of the day (see the photo of our completed wall poster) we could see that books that look exciting and books about animals were clear favourites!

We are very grateful to the Children’s Book Project for their support this year!
