On November 13th, New Delhi class went on a mini adventure to Piccadilly Circus. The trip nicely coincided with our recent World Studies topic about human organs. Thankfully, the sun was shining and it remained dry for our journey. The class were captivated by the awe-inspiring, finely assembled exhibition about the human body. The audio guides helped to deepen the classes understanding of various bodily functions and processes. New Delhi really enjoyed the interactive elements of the exhibition. For example, all of us used the blood pressure monitor, some of the class performed CPR on a dummy and Mr Ampong measured his body composition. Don’t bother asking him for the results. He won’t tell you!
The exhibition came to a dramatic end, with a display of a human body sat on a horse, along with a video showing the plastination process. What a fascinating and insightful trip!
