A day at Coombe Farm
During Activity Week at Carew students from Key Stage 2 to Sixth Form got to experience a day at Coombe Farm. They had an amazing time playing a range of sports, from dodgeball to boules, exploring the WWII bomb hole and chilling out in the relaxation tent.
During the day the pupils developed their ‘outdoor skills’ by collecting wood and building their own campfire. They also cooked their lunch on the campfire and made their own marshmallow kebabs which they toasted over the hot coals, yum! The students and staff had a great time enjoying the outdoor life, we definitely have some future Bear Grylls’ in the making.
