3rd annual Fireworks Display

Carew Academy held its third annual Fireworks Display yesterday, and as Principal John Prior says “the event gets bigger and better each year”.

The Great Hall was full of parents, carers, pupils, teachers, and staff from Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust, where everyone warmed up with some tea, coffee and hot food. Everyone was then led outside, where the huge school grounds were put to good use with a fantastic fireworks display which was enjoyed by all.

The event itself was also a work experience opportunity for pupils who were successful in their recent job interviews for roles on the night including cashier at the refreshments station and ushers. Click here to read the story about their job interviews and application process.

Events like this are the perfect opportunity to continue building strong links with families of our pupils, and the brilliant turnout was a good sign of strengthening relationships, so we hope to see just as many (if not more!) at our next event.

Carew is an amazing school for our son, he now shines academically and his social skills are outstanding since being part of Carew.  Most of all they understand his needs and support him daily.
