Carew’s Inaugural Winter Fayre Raises Over £4,500

We were absolutely delighted to recently hold our very first Carew Winter Fayre in our new school building, and what a fantastic day it was!

In the run-up to the big event, students and staff worked together to make and hang decorations, turning the school into a sparkling, festive wonderland.

There was something for everyone to enjoy on the day, with stalls including tombolas, henna, handmade crafts, games, face painting, and a fantastic Santa’s Grotto. There was even a surprise visit from the Grinch!

The highlight of the afternoon was the Grand Raffle, packed with amazing prizes generously donated by local companies and families.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us by donating items, buying tickets, and joining us on the day. We couldn’t have done it without our amazing staff, families, and wonderful support from the local community.

We’re thrilled to share that the event raised an incredible £4,539.86, which will go directly back to our students for class trips, resources, and other exciting opportunities.

A big well done to everyone involved for making our first Winter Fayre such a success. We’re already looking forward to an even bigger and better event next year!
