National Story Telling Week
We enjoyed National Storytelling Week at Carew Academy. Students took part in a variety of creative writing activities, including using an online multi-player writing game called Frankenstories, designed to help students develop creative writing skills by collaboratively building a story together in timed rounds.
Players contributed sections anonymously and then voted on the best ones to progress the narrative; essentially creating a “Frankenstein” story by piecing together different parts from various players. Two students in particular, Bonnie-May (Berlin class) and Ali (Kingston class), produced some excellent creative writing/storytelling pieces this week.
